     Texas Instruments further expands its broad portfolio of analog and embedded processing semiconductors with the introduction of its scalable Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller (MCU) product family. The product family features a wealth of computing, pin arrangement, memory, and integrated simulation options.

     The launch of dozens of MCUS is powered by intuitive software and design tools that enable the MSPM0 MCU product family to help designers spend more time on innovation, reducing evaluation and programming time, and reducing design time from months to days.      "Ti is building an industry-wide family of Arm® Cortex®-M0+ MCU products that offer a variety of generic design options that extend Texas Instruments' already extensive semiconductor offerings," said Vinay Agarwal, vice president of TI's MSP Microcontroller Business unit. "Our new MCU products provide customers with the flexibility they need to enhance their systems' sensing and control capabilities, while reducing cost, complexity, and design time."

     Designers can choose from a variety of computing options ranging from 32MHz to 80MHz with mathematical acceleration and multiple configurations of integrated analog signal chain components, including industry-leading MCU on-chip zero-shift operational amplifiers and 12-bit, 4MSPS precision analog-to-digital converters. This flexibility helps designers implement their current design requirements and plan their future designs, all through the same MCU product family.

     MSPM0 MCU can help save months of design time through software, design support resources, and coding tools, including graphical tools that simplify device configuration. Designers write code once, allowing them to scale in future MspM0-based designs. Designers can use the MSPM0 software development Kit (SDK) to improve system performance and memory utilization. The SDK provides a unified experience that includes a variety of drivers, libraries, more than 200 easy-to-use code examples, and subsystem reference designs.

     The new MCU product family reflects TI's commitment to provide designers with more cost-effective embedded processors to meet any design challenge. Ti embedded processors help designers connect and control systems in an intelligent, reliable and secure manner, while reducing cost and complexity. In addition to a vast ecosystem of software, tools and training, all analog and embedded processing devices are manufactured from Texas Instruments' manufacturing sites to help meet customer needs for decades to come.
