The compact, lightweight vector network analyzer ZNLE makes accurate S-parameter measurement easier
Rohde & Schwarz announces ZNLE, a vector network analyzer that meets customer testing requirements for antennas, attenuators, filters and PCBS. The meter itself weighs only 6Kg and has a length and width of 408 mm x 235 mm, which can save customers about 2/3 of the workbench space compared to the same class of vector network analyzer.
In addition to saving space for customers, the two-port vector network analyzer provides fast, accurate measurements, especially with the ZNLE's simple S-parameter test wizard. The ZNLE provides bidirectional measurement of the four S-parameters S11, S21, S12, and S22, and supports remote control through the GPIB/LAN interface, of which GPIB is an optional interface. The instrument is available in two frequency bands: ZNLE3(1MHz to 3GHz) and ZNLE6(1MHz to 6GHz).
The R&S ZNLE offers excellent RF performance including a large dynamic range with typical values of 120dB and a measurement bandwidth of 1Hz to 500KHz. With 200MHz frequency span, dual-port TOSM/SOLT calibration, 100KHz measurement bandwidth, and 201 test points, the test time was only 9.6ms. At the same time, the trace noise of the meter is only 0.001dB, which provides customers with stable and repeatable measurements.
The R&S ZNLE features a 10.1-inch WXGA touch screen that allows all test tracks to be clearly visible, while multi-touch gestures are available to zoom in and out of test tracks. With very few steps, you can easily access each test function. Reset and Cancel operations Keys are used to cancel or resume user operations. Friendly man-machine interface, provide various functions and parameters of the online help description.
The calibration method for the ZNLE is simple and easy to use, using the calibration wizard unique to the Rohde & Schwarz ZNx series of loss-of-flow network analyzers and supporting automatic calibration components. Select the "Start Auto Cal" button on the ZNLE screen, and the instrument can start automatic calibration with the automatic calibration component, which can make the test calibration easier.
