In the process of traditional transmission line erection, manual erection is mainly adopted, but this mode of transmission line erection will consume a lot of labor costs, the construction period is relatively long, and the risk of line erection is relatively large. Even if the wiring methods of airship and power umbrella were introduced in the place where the manual wiring was difficult a few years ago, the former has poor mobility, high price and insufficient popularity; The risk factor of the latter is relatively large, and it is not suitable for promotion and popularization. If the UAV can be reasonably introduced to carry out the wiring operation in the process of transmission line erection, it can inject new vitality into the construction of China's power grid, improve the quality, efficiency and safety of transmission line erection, and also help reduce the damage to forest resources.

Fourth, the future prospects of UAV application
