     Saelig now offers the Pico Technology PS3417E and PS3418E, the world's first USB-powered 5GSa/s pc oscilloscope, an extension of the PicoScope 3000 series. The two 4-analog channel models, with bandwidths of 350MHz and 500MHz respectively, feature 10-bit resolution and enhanced resolution up to 14-bit accuracy. 2GSa ultra-deep capture memory allows capture of long time signals at maximum sampling rates. Complementing this, the PicoScope DeepMeasure tool provides automatic waveform parameter measurements of up to one million waveform cycles per trigger acquisition. USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity and power supply provides high-speed data transfer and is compatible with the latest generation of PCS, simplifying connection and setup, but offers adapters for earlier USB port types.

     The design includes a 200MSa/s 14-bit AWG/ function generator that provides true waveform generation for a wide range of applications, eliminating the need for additional external devices. Software controls are available for Windows, Mac, and Linux through the PicoScope 7 user interface, with free updates. 38 Serial decoders are included for free, enabling analysis of serial bus communications, simplifying debugging and troubleshooting processes. Segmented memory, persistence, and fast waveform updates in PicoScope 7 enhance waveform visualization and analysis, enabling users to efficiently extract valuable insights.

     Memory segmentation can quickly capture thousands of waveforms and view them in the waveform buffer Navigator, filtering them using criteria such as mask limit tests or measurement limits to drill down to important waveforms. Comprehensive analytical tools such as advanced mathematics, measurements, masks and digital triggers are also included for in-depth waveform characterization and interpretation. PicoScope software can also automatically scale to take advantage of the improved resolution of larger display sizes, including 4K Ultra HD models. The host display is usually larger and higher resolution than the screen of a traditional desktop oscilloscope. This provides space for displaying time domain and frequency domain waveforms simultaneously, decoding serial bus tables, statistical measurement results, etc.
