Texas Instruments TPS92665 LED Matrix Manager

Texas Instruments TPS92665 LED Matrix Manager enables a full dynamic adaptive lighting solution by providing separate pixel-level LED controls. The device comprises a three-series integrated switch of four substrings for bypass connection of independent leds. The device can accept a single or multiple current sources through a separate substring. It contains registers for programming the phase shift and pulse width of each LED in the lamp string, as well as for reporting LED open and short circuit failures and functional parameters.

The TPS92665 has an internal oscillator. Internal oscillators can be shared with other system components via internal low noise LVDS transmitter and receiver modules. The multipoint Branch Universal Asynchronous Transceiver (UART) serial interface is compatible with TPS92664, TPS92667, TPS92662x, and TPS92663x devices. Onboard ADC, with multiplexed input, can sample all LED channels, IC naked chip temperature. The ADC also samples dedicated ADC inputs for system temperature compensation, LED indexing, and coding.
