TDK Lambda's 1.5W and 3W DC/DC converters come in surface-mount and through-hole packages

TDK Lambda's CCG1R5 (1.5W) and CCG3 (3W) components can be operated at full load in the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C under convection-cooled conditions. These models consist of 36 voltage and current combinations and have 3.3V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V and dual ±12 V and ±15 V outputs.

Dual output models can also be connected to 24 V and 30 V power supplies. They can all operate at 4.5 V to 18 V, 9 V to 36 V, or 18 V to 76 VDC input voltages to support the operation of 5 V, 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V power supplies. This 4:1 input range can help reduce inventory planning, where one part covers two nominal voltages. All voltage combinations are provided with terminations for surface mount or through-hole mount.

The 1.5W and 3W share a compact package size of 15.7mm x 10.4mm x 11.5mm (L x W x H). The plastic case is not encapsulated, avoiding the quality risks associated with silicone potting materials during reflow welding. Overcurrent protection and remote on/off are standard, with an output voltage adjustment range of -5/+10% only on a single output. Input-output isolation at 1,500 VDC, in compliance with IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 safety standards, with CE and UKCA marks for low voltage and RoHS instructions.
