Standex Electronics introduces analog output angular position sensor

Standex Electronics' line of angular position sensors are high-performance contactless sensors that provide long-term solid state reliability, as well as outstanding accuracy and repeatability. These angular position sensors have high resolution up to 0.36 and employ Hall effect technology to parse the angular position of rotating targets using an internal microprocessor. These sensors provide 0 V to 5 V linear analog output proportional to the magnet Angle.

Standard programming detection range options are 45°, 90°, 180°, 270°, 360°, and other user-defined ranges. The analog output of the sensor increases or decreases according to the rotation Angle of the target magnet. Other options include digital PWM or SPI serial output. It provides 5 V power supply and load drop protection for 8 V to 30 V power supply. Custom ranges are also available. A target magnet with a marked orientation is provided for mounting.

Choose from unmachined compact magnets or magnets in bolted housing. Housing and connection options are available, including but not limited to molded, aluminum and stainless steel packages. Other connection types include all-in-one connectors, pigtails, and free end connections. Typical applications include the angular positioning of shafts and gears in automotive and heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, and other rotating objects in manufacturing and industrial applications
