STMicroelectronics introduces a new generation of digital audio power amplifier chips for vehicles
Across multiple electronic applications, STMicroelectronics, the world's leading semiconductor supplier, has expanded its leadership in automotive digital audio technology with the launch of the second generation of automotive digital audio power amplifier chips, which will not only help automotive audio system manufacturers simplify amplifier design, but also bring better listening experience to drivers and passengers. And the sound quality is not affected by the size of the compartment.
STMicroelectronics' FDA801 and FDA801B second generation four-channel Class D power amplifier chips are equipped with a digital input function that converts digital audio sources directly into high-quality audio signals and enables music to surround the entire carriage. The digital input audio signal is not interfered by GSM noise, and can improve the sound quality, save the device cost and simplify the system design. St introduced the world's first Class D power amplifier chip for digital input vehicles in 2012, and is now introducing the second generation of enhanced digital power amplifier chips for vehicles, and will soon introduce various products that are pin-compatible and in multi-channel configurations to complete the product range.
