STMicroelectronics VIPower M0-9 Intelligent high side switch

STMicroelectronics VIPower M0-9 Intelligent high-side switch adopts regional architecture, which can meet the needs of intelligent vehicles and achieve more and more advanced functions. The STMicroelectronics VIPower M0-9 device integrates features such as ADC, PWM engine, priority manager, and SPI interface or standard parallel interface. The VIPower M0-9 technology features a 40V grooved vertical mosFETs, providing smarter devices capable of processing and monitoring more data required for increasingly complex advanced Assisted driving systems (ADAS).

The technology includes autonomous driving requirements. These devices combine highly efficient 40V grooved vertical mosFeTs with 3.3V digital logic and high-precision analog circuits. These intelligent high-side drivers simplify the hardware and software design of electronic control units (ECUs) and improve system reliability.

These devices are designed for high-side connections in 12V battery powered applications. An integrated pulse-width modulation (PWM) generator and priority management unit with channel conversion mediation and synchronization provide easy, precise control signals for each output to handle a variety of functions. In addition, these devices provide complex drivers that run independently of the application to simplify AUTOSAR compliance, thereby simplifying software development.
