Renesas RA4E2 is the most optimized product in the RA4 range. It is based on the 100 MHz Arm®Cortex®-M33 core and offers a smaller package, lower pin count options, and a more optimized feature set than the existing RA4E1.

It maintains the same performance range as several interfaces, such as I³C, CAN FD, and HDMI CEC, which were previously unavailable on RA4 devices. The RA4E2 can be the first entry into the RA family due to its availability, price range, and scalability to other mainstream product lines. With enhanced entry level products, customers can achieve high performance applications even under strict size and cost constraints.

In addition, Renesas FSP provides customers with an easy to use development environment. By using FSP's smaller memory footprint HAL drivers and peripheral drivers, customers can reduce development resources and time and have software scalability with other components of the RA family.
