The PGL6477 and PGL6478 series of high-current, low-DCR inductors from YAGEO's Pulse Electronics are available for single-phase point-of-load (PoL) and polyphase step-down converters. Power processors, memory modules, FPGas and ASics in servers, data centers, network systems and graphics cards. The PGL6477 and PGL6478 series use Pulse Electronics' power magnetic bead technology and are built with a single-turn copper frame that helps provide extremely low AC losses. The size of PGL6477 is 6.45mm × 6.45mm; The PGL6478 features a thin platform with a maximum height of 3.55 mm.

 

The PGL6477 and PGL6478 series inductors are designed with a jumper structure to make them suitable for encapsulated power supplies (PSIPs). The jumper terminal occupies a smaller pad layout area, allowing more components to be placed under the PSiP inductor, thereby helping to reduce the base surface of the power supply. These series are manufactured with automation and are suitable for high-performance, high-reliability applications requiring competitively priced solutions in the data communications, computing and industrial markets.
