Microsemi introduces a security-enhanced NTP timing and synchronization platform

     Microsemi Corporation, a leading provider of differentiated semiconductor technology solutions in terms of power consumption, security, reliability and performance, announced the new SyncServer S6xx series of Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers. A highly secure, precise, and flexible timing and frequency platform for enterprise information technology (IT) applications to synchronize network elements with mission-critical electronic systems, ranging from Internet Protocol (IP) telephony and physical security solutions to government instrumentation applications such as satellite communications and defense operations infrastructure.

     According to the 2014 U.S. Cybercrime Survey, organizations surveyed use a variety of security technologies to protect online operations.
