Artesyn Embedded Technologies introduces the new MaxCore industrial personal computer platform
Artesyn Embedded Technologies announced MaxCore computing server platform series, the latest models. The MaxCore Industrial Computer (IPC) platform is highly performant and dense, and its design is flexible enough to support a wide variety of applications, so vendors in different industries can use the platform to develop a wide range of products, such as machine vision, video surveillance, data acquisition and control, data analysis and fog computing systems.
The MaxCoreIPC platform uses a system architecture that supports PCIExpress, so by using ATsen's PCle card or any third party or customized PCle card, you can ensure that many different functions such as computing, input/output or image processing meet the specifications. The MaxCoreIPC platform's motherboard uses an Intel XeonD processor and is equipped with 15 PCIe slots, 13 of which are standard full-length and full-height slots, so it can support a variety of different compute, input/output, acceleration and storage systems within heterogeneous systems.
PCIe card slots can support high-performance dual-width GPU cards, allowing manufacturers to choose from more different acceleration features. The platform is equipped with four DDR4DIMM memory slots, allowing the system's random access memory (RAM) capacity to increase to 128GB. In addition, as long as the various cards of Atsen's PCIExpress card family are used, a variety of storage modules can be flexibly combined, for example, developers can add solid-state drive (SSD) modules to the platform that meet the NVMeM.2 interface size specifications. In addition, the system is also equipped with a network graphical interface management interface.
The 3U high (5.25 inches, 133.4mm) MaxCoreIPC platform is only 508mm deep, so it can be installed within a 19-inch standard server rack. The system can use up to two built-in 1,100W(AC) power supplies, providing up to 150W of power output per PCle slot. The compute server platform can be equipped with up to three 1,100W power supplies, allowing the system to have sufficient redundant power supply. In addition, the platform's cooling system can dissipate all the heat generated, even when operating at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius with an output power of up to 1,800W.
