Analog Devices' ADXL314 digital output data can be accessed through SPI, 3 - or 4-wire, or I2C digital interfaces
ADI's ADXL314 is a ±200 g range, 13-bit resolution 3-axis digital accelerometer. The digital output data is in 16-bit binary complement data format and is available via the serial peripheral interface (SPI), 3-wire or 4-wire, or I2C digital interface.
An integrated memory management system with a 32-stage first-in-first-out (FIFO) buffer stores data to minimize host processor activity and reduce overall system power consumption. Low power mode enables motion-based intelligent power management at low power consumption, with threshold sensing and active acceleration measurement, VS = 2.5V @100 Hz output data rate (ODR) typical current 65μA.
The EVAL-ADXL314Z is a simple evaluation board that quickly evaluates the performance of the ADXL314 three-axis digital accelerometer. The EVAL-ADXL314Z is well suited for evaluating the ADXL314 in existing systems because the stiffness and small size of the EVAL-ADXL314Z minimizes the impact of the circuit board on the system and acceleration measurements.
The EVAL-ADXL314-SDP is an easy-to-use customer evaluation system that allows users to quickly begin testing and evaluating the ADXL314 accelerometer. The system is composed of main board (EVAL-SDP-CB1Z evaluation platform), interface board (EVAL-SDP-INTERZ) and satellite board (EVAL-ADXL314Z splinter board)
