Amphenol RF offers an extended line of 50 Ω SMA connectors optimized for traditional low loss automotive cable types, including TFC-302LL, TFC 3.6mm LL-50, RTK301, RTK-044 and DACAR-302. SMA interfaces are compact, lightweight, and offer bulkhead jacks, straight and right Angle plug configurations. These connectors are ideal for applications requiring low return losses and vibration resistance.

The SMA interface supports frequencies up to 18 GHz, ensuring optimal performance across 6 GHz (the cutoff frequency of the cable). The interface also utilizes a popular threaded coupling mechanism. All designs are crimp terminated, allowing rapid and safe assembly using standard hexagonal crimp tools and welded intermediate contacts. Low loss cable types are designed to provide reliable electrical and mechanical properties. They have a hinge center that complements the low loss features of SMA connectors. All supported cables are highly flexible with stable impedance and low signal attenuation.
