A new generation of high-power modular AC-DC conversion platforms for rapid system configuration and power expansion

     Advanced Energy introduces Evergreen, a new generation of modular high-power platforms featuring two new air-cooled Vento products. With 2.5 times higher output power than contemporary high-power modular solutions, Evergreen offers high-performance optimized AC-DC conversion with fast system configuration for instant customization and power expansion.

     To meet the growing demand for high-power, high-efficiency, high-power density, high-volume AC-DC power conversion, the new Evergreen modular converter platform includes a 2 U x 3 U floor space of 10 kW FCM10K air-cooled hot swap module and 30 kW FCM30K stand. By connecting multiple mounts on an industry-standard 19-inch rack, customers can extend total system output to ultra-high power levels to meet demanding precision power applications. The Evergreen platform also provides system-level communication and control. Mobile device connectivity (coming soon) will allow wireless identification, configuration, status checking, debugging, and "black box" data retrieval, making it easy to troubleshoot without disassembling the device.

     Evergreen has a power factor of 0.98 and an efficiency greater than 95%, which reduces electricity costs. With a power density of 38W/in3, this compact solution offers a smaller footprint and more powerful power. The Evergreen platform offers a significant increase in efficiency and power density compared to previous generations of solutions.
