Zytronic introduces ZYFILM Multitouch, a flexible film that can be rolled and projected for capacitive touch

     Zytronic is a leading provider of advanced projected capacitive touch screen solutions. To expand its product range, the company introduced the curl type highly elastic touch film, another award-winning glass touch sensor. The elastic film is made using the company's patented multi-touch projection capacitor technology (MPCT). It will be popular in large interactive displays that require attention, such as in retail locations and other digital signage.

     By laminating a transparent substrate behind the film, such as a shop window, or combining it with a projector or LCD display, customers can choose what the touch screen displays. The product is currently available in 85 inches. The polyester touch film can be deployed in semi-permanent and permanent applications if the correct formation is pressed onto the appropriate substrate.

     Combined with the Zytronic ZXY200 and ZXY300 multi-touch controllers, this polyester touch film is capable of penetrating 10mm glass thickness and measuring more than 40 touch points simultaneously. As a result, this product is highly cost-effective, while also offering industry-leading touch performance. The new ZYFILM touch film is thinner and can be packed in tubular form when transported in small batches, thus minimizing transportation costs.

     When mounted on the rear surface of the protective substrate, the projected capacitive sensor is well protected and highly flexible to meet the  conditions of everyday public use. In addition, its one-time calibration and drift free performance provide the product with extremely high reliability, which is critical to meet the needs of year-round operation.
