TE Connectivity acquired Linx Technologies to accelerate its competitiveness in the Internet of Things
TE Connectivity, a global connectivity and sensor provider, announced the acquisition of Linx Technologies, a leading RF component provider in the Internet of Things. This strategic acquisition will further strengthen TE's product portfolio and competitiveness in the Internet of Things sector.
The acquisition of Linx Technologies expands TE's extensive connectivity portfolio, particularly in antennas and RF connectors for the Internet of Things (IoT). The acquisition helps expand TE's supply chain reach as it continues to improve its product launch capabilities in the iot market. This is also an important decision for TE following the acquisition of Laird Connectivity's antenna business in 2021.
