Super Micro debuts with new wireless Internet of Things

     Super Micro Compute introduces its latest Embedded Building Block Solutions. Supermicro will highlight its new Internet of Things (IoT) gateway system (SYS-E100-8Q), which features ultra-low power Edge-to-Cloud mesh networking devices powered by 2.2W Intel Quark SoC X1021. Expands the scale of our embedded solutions with 512GB DDR3 ECC memory, ZigBee module slots, and support for expansion through micro-SDHC (high capacity SD memory card) (up to 32GB) and two Mini-PCI-E slots. Additionally, SuperMicro will showcase a wide range of server/storage building blocks and solutions based on Intel Atom and Intel Xeon processors for embedded applications in medical imaging, communications, retail, transportation control, digital security and monitoring, industrial automation, cloud and refrigeration, content management and distribution.
