Space-ready micro-d and sockets for mission-critical applications

     Cinch Connectivity Solutions, based in Bel Fuse, has launched the Dura-Con space-class micro-d. This new product line is precision engineered for demanding environments, redefining the standards of durability and reliability for engineers in aerospace, defense and other mission critical applications.

     The device uses twist pin contacts and machined sockets specified in the NASA EE-INST-002 standard to provide unmatched resilience in the most challenging conditions. The integrated M83513 micro-d connector, DAP insulator, nickel-plated aluminum housing and ETFE insulated wire ensure high performance even in space-constrained applications where size and weight are key factors. In addition, these components have low-bleed materials, TML less than 1% and CVCM less than 0.1%, meeting the stringent requirements of space flight applications.
