Smart TFT displays based on Android and linux simplify embedded development

     Review Display Systems (RDS) has announced a new Android - and Linux-based smart display from DWIN, a leading provider of advanced display solutions. The innovative display module was developed to aid and assist in the development of embedded systems and to provide engineers with easy-to-use tools to produce user-friendly interactive GUIs for industrial, security, healthcare and retail applications.

     The DWIN Smart TFT display family is based on powerful Android and Linux platforms, providing flexibility and scalability for a variety of applications. The display module combines an IPS TFT LCD display with a built-in PCap touch screen and an integrated SWick chip processor to provide vibrant color display images and a responsive user experience.

     These display modules are available in a variety of expandable screen sizes, including a compact 5-inch module for portable mobile devices and a 15.6-inch large-format display for industrial process control panels and signage applications.
