RS adds a wide range of high-performance solid-state relays for industrial use

     RS Components has announced the launch of two new Kudom solid-state relays (SSR) series. With built-in contact protection, the new SSR offers high quality performance and a competitive price to meet the needs of industrial original equipment manufacturers as well as designers of panel, mechanical and heating control systems.

     The high quality panel mounted SSRS of the Kudom KSI(068) and KSQF series are perfect for a variety of applications such as resistance heating, catering equipment, liquid temperature control, motor control, lighting control, electric vehicles, electric scooters and DC-DC switches.

     This series of relays drives market demand due to advantages such as the ability to switch higher loads than electromechanical relays, quieter and faster switching due to the absence of moving parts, and the ability to switch more total number of operations.

     This product size and electrical characteristics meet the panel/surface mount style SSR industry benchmark "hockey ball" design requirements, built-in anti-contact protection cover for higher safety, generally sold as an accessory, is currently standard. Beautiful shape, highly recognizable Kudom brand blue, all SSR from Kudom also have a built-in LED indicator light, the relay lights up when powered, easy to use.

     The KSI(068) series single-phase AC output SSR can be used for resistive, inductive and capacitive loads with an IP20-rated contact protection cover. The relay offers bidirectional thyristor (Triac) or unidirectional thyristor (SCR) outputs for high industrial loads, as well as internal RC/MOV and TVS protection. The KSQF series three-phase AC output SSR offers unidirectional thyristor output and internal MOV/RC protection circuit, which is RoHS compliant.
