Programmable power supply in 90kW rated GSPS 20U 19 "rack cabinet
TDK Corporation introduces the 90kw rated GSPS 20U 19 "rack cabinet for the TDK-Lambda GENESYS+ series of programmable DC power supplies. GSPS systems seamlessly transition between constant voltage, constant current and constant power limited operating modes. These cabinets are mounted on lockable casters and can be easily repositioned around research or production facilities.
The range meets the test and measurement needs of automotive parts, electric vehicle batteries, aerospace, high-power magnets, medical imaging, semiconductor processing, and industrial automation and process control applications.
GENESYS+ 7.5kW internal configuration of 12 power supplies, providing 0-20V to 0-1500V 12 output voltage, output current up to 4500A. The company's patented advanced parallel systems provide dynamic load response, ripple and noise characteristics comparable to a single power supply.
Input voltage ranges from three-phase 342VAC to 528VAC 47-63Hz, covering nominal 380, 400, 415, 440, 460 and 480VAC. The input circuit breaker is located on the front panel of the cabinet, and the parallel output bus connection is located at the rear of the cabinet. Safety features are standard on all GENESYS+ power supplies, offering safe/automatic restart, last set memory and built-in voltage, current and temperature protection.
The series uses general-purpose programming throughout the GENESYS+ series, whether through front panel control, remote communication over LAN (LXI 1.5), USB 2.0 and RS232/485, or isolated analog control and monitoring interfaces (0-5V, 0-10V) provided as standard. Optional interfaces include GPIB (IEEE488.2), EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP, and IS420 (4mA to 20mA isolated current programming loop). The package provides drivers, a waveform creator, and a virtual front panel GUI.
The dimensions of the rack cabinet are 553mm x 92mm x 1028mm (WxDxH) and the weight is less than 200kg. Casters can be removed if not needed. The five-year warranty series is IEC/EN/UL 61010-1 safety certified and has CE and UKCA marks for low voltage, EMC and RoHS directives. The series also complies with the conducted and radiated EMI and EMC immunity of IEC/EN 61204-3.
