Pasternack announces new ultra wideband millimeter wave low noise amplifiers

     Pasternack has launched its new line of ultra-wideband millimeter wave low noise amplifiers, which are now in stock and ready for same-day shipping. The new high frequency low noise amplifier (LNA) has an extremely low noise index typical of 2.5 to 3dB over the full spectrum, making it ideal for applications such as electronic countermeasures, instrumentation, optical fiber communication systems, military communications, radar, satellite communications, point-to-point wireless links, telecommunications and research and development.

     The newly released RF amplifier products are available in 17 models, covering multiple octave bandwidths with a flat gain response and featuring efficient GaAs PHEMT semiconductor technology. 50 ohm hybrid MIC circuits are packaged in a nickel - or gold-plated, sealed metal environment. These low noise amplifier products are equipped with stainless steel SMA connectors or 2.92mm connectors, some of which are not only well sealed, but also have field replaceable connectors, making them extremely durable and resistant to harsh environments. Products with 2.92mm connectors operate at frequencies up to 40GHz.

     These new UWB MMwave LNA products feature IP3 power levels up to +42dBm, low VSWR, absolute stability, DC input voltage range +12 to +15V, bias current range 80 to 1300mA, and internal regulation. In addition, the RF input/output port of the internal circuit of these products is equipped with a straight capacitor and can guarantee a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius.
