New USB dual stack adapter couplers and cables increase port density
L-com has just added a new line of USB 3.0 dual stack adapter couplers and cables and USB 2.0 dual stack adapter couplers and cables. These allow you to double the number of USB ports in your rack, panel, or box without taking up more space. They also bring faster USB 2.0 data transfer to match cutting-edge devices.
If needed, these panel mounting devices enable USB cables to efficiently pass through the rack or panel. Choose between two USB-A connector combinations - two female plugs to two male plugs or two female plugs to two female plugs. Ecf-style panel mounting fits most racks and panel cuts.
the dual stack design means that two sets of USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 connections are stacked vertically. This allows for a more compact and organized installation that accommodates two USB ports in space that one might normally occupy.
The adapter cable features a chrome-plated, shielded and grounded ABS housing and 30 microinch gold-plated contacts to provide a reliable connection even after repeated mating cycles. The adapter comes in chrome, shielded or unshielded housing types, depending on whether the user prefers to ground the connector housing on their rack, panel or box. The USB cable can be securely installed using the company's ECF-type flange-mount design by screw mounting through the panel or housing.
Another benefit of the company's new dual stack adapter coupler is better cable management. They help manage cable routing and provide a fixed point for connecting USB devices, eliminating the need to loosen or hang cables inside the case.Most of the newly released products are cable assemblies, available in 7 lengths from 1' to 10'. There are also four colors to choose from: ivory, black, silver or blue.
