Cadence introduces Allegro X AI, designed to accelerate the PCB design process and reduce turnaround times by more than 10 times

Cadence announced the Cadence Allegro X AI technology, Cadence's next-generation system design technology that delivers revolutionary improvements in performance and automation. Based on the Allegro X Design Platform, this new AI product significantly saves PCB design time, reducing layout and routing (P&R) tasks from days to minutes compared to manually designing boards without sacrificing or possibly improving quality.

Traditionally, layout in PCB design has been a time-consuming manual process that affects the speed to market. Allegro X AI technology uses the scalability of the cloud to automate physical designs, providing PCB generative design while also ensuring that the design is electrically accurate and can be used in manufacturing. The new technology automates device placement, metal plating, and critical network cabling, and integrates fast signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
